la grotta gigante

quasi translation: this cave is called giant because it's really huge.

V's dad is here and today we went to la grotta gigante in the carso outside of opicina.  la grotta is the largest tourist cave in the world!! other caves are deeper and longer but the main room of this cave is so enormous that st. peter's basilica could fit inside of it. there are 500 steps into the main sala and then 500 steps back out of it.

it was so cool! and totally different than other caves i've been to in virginia.

so. come visit me and we'll go because it's really cool.
