last week (or was it two weeks ago?) we had the student teachers over to give them a little taste of our favorite things in italy: pizza, penne al fumo, and vin brule.

fumo, on a pizza?! YES.
i think it's safe to say that the evening was a success. everyone was fat and happy and i came to the realization that cooking can be very exhausting. i'm not quite sure how working moms do it every day, but i was very glad to have pizza left overs for a few days.
