because i'm not quite sure that i am.
all of my students are fluent in at least one other language before english and i find myself second guessing myself when i'm editing their writing.
ALSO, i'm about to teach a unit on the middle ages. i don't know anything about the middle ages -- i'm having to research and study, like a lot.
